Five ACA athletes sign letters of intent

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc.  Signing day, when high school senior athletes accept offers to pursue their sport with a college program, was a big day for Aucilla Christian Academy (ACA) on Wednesday, April 2, when five of the school's sports stars signed letters of intent before a cheering crowd in Wilmer Bassett Gymnasium. It was the largest number of student-athletes for a signing day at ACA since 2018, according to ACA Athletic Director Willy Gamalero. “To have five athletes have the opportunity to sign to go play athletics at the next level – it's an awesome thing,” said Gamalero at the celebratory event. “It's not just about athletics. It's also about academics.
