Florida Amendment 4 defeated

On election day, 5 November, Florida became the first state to successfully defeat an abortion ballot initiative in which Planned Parenthood and others spent over 137 million dollars. If passed, Florida Amendment 4 would have overturned current laws which require parental consent before a minor child can have an abortion, thereby making abortion the only medical procedure that could be performed on a minor without a parent’s permission. Everywhere you look in America, there are laws designed to protect children from making bad decisions that could cause them harm.
