Former Jefferson Major inducted into Florida Law Enforcement Officers Hall of Fame

Retired Maj. Mike Joyner was posthumously inducted into the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's (FDLE) Florida Law Enforcement Officers Hall of Fame (FLEOHOF) last weekend.
Joyner was one of the five FLEOHOF 2024 inductees and was inducted on Saturday, May 18, with Mark C. Bohne, René G. Landa, Don R. Moreland and Daniel A. Smith. Joyner passed away in August of 2021, so his son Michael Joyner
accepted the award on his behalf. Roslyn Bass, Joyner's niece, said Michael thanked their family and all the people supporting Joyner there from Jefferson, Leon and Levy counties, and he described her uncle as “number one fearless.”
