Forum highlights views of candidates in commission and school board races

The third in the series of chamber of commerce-sponsored political forums – held Thursday evening, Aug. 25, in the second-floor courtroom of the courthouse – featured the candidates for two school board races and one county commission race.
The candidates, in order of their appearances at the podium, were incumbent Bill Brumfield and challenger Kendra Burrus in the school board, district 4, race; challenger Joy Beth Frisby and incumbent Gladys Roann-Watson in the school board, district 1, race; and Jessica Lane Gramling, Republican, in the county commission, district 1, race.
