Freddie W. Bishop, 82, died Nov. 3, 2022. Viewing will be on November 7, 2022, 10 a.m., at Central Baptist Church in Monticello, Fla., then services at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Cairo, Ga., with Pastor Daryl Adams officiating.
Freddie was a Bookkeeper for Rogers Atkins Gunter & Assoc for 36 years, a member of Central Baptist Church.
She was born June 24, 1940, in Monticello, Fla., daughter of the late Fred Wuerffel and Irene Neeley Wuerffel.
She was married to the late Donald F. Bishop for 45 years at the time of his passing.
Freddie is survived by her son, Brian Bishop (Melissa), two grandchildren, Kayla DuCasse (Zach), Gus Bishop, sisters Frankie Parker (John), Freida Fulford (Bury), and Linda Shettle, along with multiple nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna L. Bishop, two sisters, Ethel Strickland, Dorothy Brock, niece Barbara Lynn Bishop, 7 brother-in-laws and 1 sister-in-law.
