Free course offered on emergency sheltering of small animals

Jefferson County Emergency Management (EM) is partnering with the Florida State Animal Response Coalition to provide a free course called “Small Animal Emergency and Disaster Sheltering Course – Awareness Level.” The training will be offered on Saturday, June 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the EM office, located at 169 Industrial Park Dr. in Monticello. “This is the second time in three years we've brought this training to Jefferson County,” says Stev
