Students enrolling in Fall Term 2023 classes at North Florida College (NFC) are invited to get a Jumpstart on the essential skills necessary to succeed in their courses.
Jumpstart offers free study skills, strategies and academic review sessions, free of charge, for students preparing to enroll in ENC 1101/Freshman English I; MAT 1033/Intermediate Algebra; MAC 1105/College Algebra; STA 2023/Introduction to Statistics; or any science course.
Technology sessions, also offered through Jumpstart, are open to all NFC students enrolling in Fall Term 2023 providing valuable information and tips on effectively navigating and using NFC technology. Students will learn how to use D2L (NFC’s course management system), navigate the NFC InfoNetwork, utilize GoMail, create a PowerPoint and more.
The 2023 Jumpstart program will be held virtually and in-person Aug. 14-17. Registration opens July 1, 2023.
The Jumpstart Technology Workshops are offered on Monday, August 14, at the NFC Perry Location and on Tuesday, August 15, at the NFC Live Oak Location from 5 to 6 p.m.
