I consider myself to be a pretty good driver. I have been in my fair share of “fender benders” and a couple of those did result in totaled vehicles, but only one of those was my fault. Actually, I don’t consider myself to be completely at fault, since it had been raining and the car’s brakes didn’t stop the car I was driving until I was already in the intersection. That’s what I told the traffic judge; however, it still ended up with me paying a small fine for “driving too fast for conditions.” I guess that was better than “running a stop sign,” which I promise I was not intending to do.
