
From the Sunny Side: One letter
I recently saw something that immediately made me stop and think. That may not seem all that significant. Many things make me stop, not as many make me think while I am stopped. A very dear person to me (who shall remain nameless) had mentioned someone being a “lifesavor.” Of course, I knew what she meant to say. She meant to say “lifesaver.” I do love this friend dearly, but spelling is sometimes not her strongest attribute.
What caused me to think while I paused was what a difference this one letter made. If you consider the word “savor” and what the word means, “to taste (good food or drink) and enjoy it completely,” then shouldn’t we all “savor” life itself? What w
