
From the superintendent’s desk: Teachers made the difference
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week – a time to honor and thank you, the exemplary teachers and support staff of Jefferson County Schools.
Together, we have built something special over the past couple of years. I’ve had the privilege, first as your principal and now as your superintendent, to observe this team give everything they have to help our students succeed. In just two years, Jefferson K-12 has grown from a struggling school to a high-performing school, earning a “B” rating from the State of Florida in 2024. This is an incredible academic achievement that could not have happened without the work of our outstanding teachers and staff.
