
Fund created to support Matt Tuten’s cancer treatment

The local community is setting up a network of support for the family of Matt Tuten, who was recently diagnosed with a diffuse midline glioma of the brain stem. Their pastor, Rev. Daryl Adams of Central
Baptist Church, is collecting donations both through the church and via a GoFundMe campaign called “Lend a Hand to Matt and His Loved Ones.”
Victoria Tinga Tuten, Matt's sister-in-law, shares that he was originally misdiagnosed as having had a stroke not long after Christmas in 2024.
