Garden Club invites all to annual meeting

Leonia Maresch Contributor The Garden Club of Monticello will hold its annual meeting on Monday, April 15, at 11 a.m. at the Christ Episcopal Church Hall, located at 425 N. Cherry St. The gathering includes lunch and will be hosted by both groups within the Garden Club: The Magnolia Circle and The Founders Circle. Anyone in the community is welcome to attend. The main course will be provided. Cost is $10, or for those who bring a complimentary covered dish the cost is reduced to $5. The Garden Club of Monticello is affiliated with National Garden Clubs Inc., a 591(c)(3) organization that aims to promote the love of gardening, general design, and civic and environmental responsibility.
