Garden Huggers bid ag agent farewell

Jefferson County Ag Agent De'Anthony Price started the Garden Huggers Club a year ago with a handful of members. The group has grown and grown close to one another as they have volunteered in local community gardens – learning, planting, tending, harvesting and celebrating together. They've distributed the bounty through community events and the food sharing fridge at the library. On Wednesday, May 15, they gathered to say a tearful farewell to Price and thank him for his leadership and caring spirit.
