Get ready for the 4-H Forest Ecology Contest Registration

Deadline is March 15 Bea Coker ECB Publishing, Inc. It's time to prepare for the 2024 Florida 4-H Forest Ecology Contest, sponsored by UF/IFAS and Project Learning Tree. For this state-level competition, a 4-H member's love for trees, insects, forest ecosystems, topography and forest animals will take center stage. The event will be hosted on Saturday, March 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Austin Cary Forest Campus in Gainesville, Fla. Participants will be judged on their knowledge in the following stations: tree identification, forest health, forest ecosystems, wildlife identification, map and compass, tree measurement and forest management.
