Ghoulish fun

On Thursday, Oct. 26, the downtown area of Monticello was pumping with ghoulish energy, festive music and spirited costumes. The shops were open late, and many offered free beverages, snacks and goodies. In the streets, vendors were set up along the sidewalk areas, selling handmade crafts, knick knacks and gift items.
As the sun began to set, music began to drift through the downtown streets, courtesy of the DJ present. In no time at all a full dance session was enjoyed by many, as individuals and groups alike toe-tapped their way through classics like “Monster Mash,” “Thriller,” “The Addam's Family” and more.
