Ghoulish fun

Heather Ainsley ECB Publishing, Inc. On Thursday, Oct. 26, the downtown area of Monticello was pumping with ghoulish energy, festive music and spirited costumes. The shops were open late, and many offered free beverages, snacks and goodies. In the streets, vendors were set up along the sidewalk areas, selling handmade crafts, knick knacks and gift items. As the sun began to set, music began to drift through the downtown streets, courtesy of the DJ present.
