Girl Power Inc. seeks donations for annual Back to School Bash

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. On Saturday, Aug. 10, Girl Power Inc., under the leadership of JCHS Class of 2008 graduate Zanquisha Jones, will be presenting its 6th Annual Back to School Bash from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Jefferson County Recreation Park (1380 Mamie Scott Dr.). In conjunction with Trigga 500K, MMF BBQ and Soan Enterprises, Girl Power Inc. has organized the event to include giveaways of free backpacks with school supplies, free haircuts, free female hygiene bags and free gift cards. There also will be a fire truck demonstration from Jefferson County Fire Rescue, a bounce house, entertainment, music and free food and drinks. Each child must be in attendance to receive any it
