Mentoring is the essential word that states the clarity and purpose of the program. The crucial element is that of a mentor, defined as being a wise and trusted counselor or teacher. GOR's purpose is to empower the girls to become productive citizens; to inspire self-assurance, self-esteem, self-assertion, self-sufficiency, self-care and other positive self conditions.
