Being a gardener means that even though it's hot-as-blazes August, we're urged to start dabbling in Fall about six weeks early and to consider taking a bit of summer forward with us into Fall. It's a time of year when the seasons seem to warp a bit in my mind, the realities of now melding strangely with an uncertain future.
