Gloria Martin Hill, 75, of Quincy passed at home on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 9, in the Carter-Parramore Academy Auditorium, 631 S. Stewart St. in Quincy, Fla., with burial in Sunnyvale Cemetery. Viewing is from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8, at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church in Quincy. Tillman of Tallahassee, (850) 942-1950, is serving the family.
A Havana, Fla., native, Gloria was a 1963 graduate of Carter-Parramore High School. She was a retired librarian specialist assigned to the Gadsden County Bookmobile and a member of Mt. Zion, where she served as a Church Mother. Her husband, Ray, preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Nikeya Hill; son, Thaddeus (Angela) Hill; granddaughter, Sylvia Hill; sister, Shilda (Rufus) Peoples; brothers, Gerald (Sheryl) Martin, Frank Martin and Stephen (Ginger) Britt; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
