Got milk?

Cows are the number one milk source in the world today, with American cows being one of the most productive. In 1930, the average dairy cow produced about a gallon and a half of milk per day. In 1988 the average was about 4.5 gallons. In 2005, it was about 6.2 gallons. The 2025 average daily production of milk for cows in the U.S. was a little over 9 gallons of milk per day. (Nine gallons is about 144 glasses of milk!)
That’s good news for us milk lover
