Just in time for Valentines Day, Downtown Monticello will come alive with their annual Galentine's Night, an evening of sipping, shopping and spending time with friends. Many of the local merchants will be open, so grab your bestie and enjoy a nice stroll along the scenic streets, and keep an eye out for the perfect Valentines Day gift to give your special someone. Galentine's night will be held tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 13, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Shops along Jefferson, Dogwood, Washington, Cherry and Pearl streets will be open with extended hours.
