Grower’s Market to resume with new name

Heather Ainsley ECB Publishing, Inc. After a brief hiatus for the summer, the Monticello Grower's Market will be resuming this month, under the new name of Monticello Market. This local event will be held every Wednesday starting on Sept. 18, and will take place from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the parking lot of The Social. The Jefferson County Tourist Development Council (TDC) currently hosts the Monticello Market, with full support from local County Commissioners, some of whom also work as farmers and ranchers. The market is dedicated to showcasing products created by local makers with farm-fresh ingredients. Each vendor application is reviewed for product sources and maker involvement, and th
