Ghoul’s Night Out 2023

On Thursday, Oct. 26, Experience Monticello welcomes residents to come on out to the downtown area and enjoy an evening of spirited festivities and quality local shopping opportunities with their Ghoul’s Night Out event. The event will begin at 6 p.m. and will last until 9 p.m.
With over 600 people expressing interest in the annual holiday event, this year is shaping up to be one for the books, with a spooky haunted house, a DJ, and a costume parade/contest. Downtown merchants will be open late, local shops will be handing out candy, playing games and participating in plenty of festive fun, and the costume parade will take place promptly at 7:30 p.m.
This event is presented by Experience Monticello, and the cups this year will be sponsored by participating businesses.

Monticello Candy Crawl

On Saturday, Oct. 28, downtown Monticello will be crawling with costumed kids on the lookout for sweet Halloween treats as they celebrate this year's Candy Crawl event! This event is presented by Experience Monticello and is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Monticello. Kids aged 12 and under are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costume and visit participating shops and merchants for candy, games, prizes and special treats. There is no fee to participate, and participants can enjoy the activities at tables set up by local civic groups. This event will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
