Downtown shops are getting festive this week for two Halloween-themed events that are becoming local traditions.
For adults, on Thursday, Oct. 27, Experience Monticello is presenting Ghoul's Night Out from 6 to 9 p.m. Grab your best friends for a festive night of shopping, treats and ghostly fun. Costumes are encouraged, and there will be a parade at 7:30 p.m.
For the kiddos, Experience Monticello is presenting the Downtown Candy Crawl on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children ages 12 and under can dress up in their favorite costume and visit participating downtown merchants for candy, games, prizes and more.
