Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. Every May the Jefferson County Head Start holds a festive graduation ceremony for the young children who have completed their kindergarten-readiness program. Those interested in having their three- to five-year-old child participate in this program can do so now, as enrollment has opened for the upcoming 2024 school year. A child has to be three by September 1, 2024, to enroll.
