Head Start holds first Trunk or Treat

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. Jefferson County's Head Start program serves local youth ages three to five, preparing students to be ready to enter kindergarten. October is a time in our community for many fall festivals and Halloween-themed events, and this year, the faculty and staff of Head Start decided to join in. On Oct. 31, the sidewalk outside their school on Mamie Scott Road became a Trunk or Treat event, while the playground out back offered fun activities for a Fall Festival.
