The North Florida Wildlife Center is introducing a new special event – Wildlife After Dark. On Thursday, May 14, the center will re-open 5-9 p.m. to offer a fun time for the 21+ crowd. There'll be music and nighttime activities, including trivia games, keeper talks and walks along the nature trail. Vendors will offer local beer/wine and food.
“This is our first evening event at the Wildlife Center,” says Director Ryan Reines, “and we’re excited for guests to experience the peaceful evening atmosphere of the property after hours. There’s something incredibly relaxing and soothing about being surrounded by wildlife as the sun goes down; and we’ll have beautiful décor and lighting throughout the evening to help create an unforgettable ambiance. Come out, unwind and enjoy the evening with us!”
Tickets cost $19.99 online (use QR code or go to northfloridawildlife.org) or $24.99 at the door. For information about how to enhance your evening with an animal encounter, see northfloridawildlife.org/visit.
The Wildlife Center is located at 1386 Cook Rd. in Lamont.
