
Hightower speaks about God’s timing at prayer breakfast

The April 3 gathering of the Monticello Community Prayer Breakfast was hosted by the First Baptist Church of Lloyd, whose men's group prepared a delicious buffet of scrambled eggs, grits, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy and fruit. Chris Tuten, a member of the church, welcomed everyone and gave the opening blessing.
Mike Gresham of Gideon's International began the program by leading the song “The Old Rugged Cross” and then inviting Charles Willingham, a member of the host church as well as a Gideon, to help lead some of the verses.
