For those who went for a stroll downtown on Saturday, Dec. 14, Monticello may have appeared to be something out of a holiday card; with glowing lights, and warm storefronts beckoning. The tantalizing smells of a visiting food truck enticed shoppers as they made their way down the cheerfully decorated streets. As the sun went down, holiday lights, trees and wreaths glittered from windows, and the faint sounds of music warbled through the air. Inside the coffee shop, Santa himself met with children for a special story-time, while some shops hosted ornament decorating workshops and holiday charity donation drives. This Second Saturday event marked the f
