According to the Primary Mortgage Market Survey (PMMS) from the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac), the U.S. weekly mortgage rate average, as of Wednesday, Dec. 31, was 6.15% for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage.
