How slow can you go?
The front page story about mail delivery, by Lazaro Aleman, has me pretty upset. The faceless bureaucracy of the USPS 's nine-member governing board most likely will approve the new delivery standards proposed by the incompetent Louis DeJoy, Postmaster General. According to Mr. Aleman, "....USPS reportedly filed the plans with its regulators on Aug. 22, and planned afterwards to hold hearings to solicit public input".
Since DeJoy filed his plans 27 days before this story appeared in the Carrier, one must wonder : 1) How many hearings for public input have already been held, 2) How many hearings were scheduled, and how many---IF INDEED ANY--- are left, and 3) Where are any remaining hearings
