Donkeys are classified as asses. Jacks are male asses, hence jackasses. It’s generally not flattering to be called a jackass. The worldly definition of a jackass is a person who is stupid, foolish or offensive. As much as I hate to admit it, there have been times when I have been guilty of each one if not all three of these. Actions are one thing, possessions are another challenge.
