Interim clerk revamping, modernizing office

If you’ve visited the clerk of court’s website, you’ve probably noticed several new features, including profiles on the staff, a self-help center, a community newsletter and a newly-created position of transparency clerk, responsible for keeping the public abreast of the operation’s doings. These are just a few of the more readily visible changes that interim Clerk of Court Jason Welty has initiated since taking over the office several months ago, when he vowed to make the operation more accountable and accessible to the citizens.
