Ira Ray West Jr, 36, passed away on Sept. 25, 2022. He was born Sept. 29, 1985, in Pensacola, Fla., to Ira West Sr. and Cynthia “Renee” Barfield.
Ira Jr. loved trucks, rims, dirt bikes, his friends, family and, more than anything, his kids.
Ira was the owner of Top Quality Renovations and Designs LLC and was a hardworking and very skilled carpenter.
Ira is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He leaves behind seven children, Jaydon Godwin, Riley West, Kaitlyn Henderson, McKenzie West, Lani West, Levi West and Hudson West. Ira loved his kids more than life. He also leaves behind his grieving parents; four sisters and four brothers; his fiancée, MacKenzie Lipford; and countless friends.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, Oct. 1, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home, in Monticello, Fla. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted at The First Bank, to Brandi Matthews (memo: Ira West Jr. Memorial fund).
