Mrs. Irene Mathis King of Monticello's Casa Bianca Community passed on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021. Graveside services are 1 p.m. Sunday in Oakfield Cemetery. Viewing is 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Casa Bianca M.B. Church. Burial will be Monday in Tallahassee National Cemetery. Tillman of Monticello is serving the family.
King grew up in Monticello, Perry and Jacksonville. She was a graduate of Jacksonville Business and Technical College. She lived in New York for many years, working for the U.S. Postal Service and retiring as a Federal Disability Claims Examiner. She was a devoted member of Casa Bianca.
