County officials are once again wrestling with what to do about the A-Building restoration, which has already absorbed nearly $4 million in costs, with at least one commissioner arguing that it might be time to pull the plug on the project.
On Thursday, April 6, County Manager Shannon Metty asked the Jefferson County Commission for direction on what to do about the ongoing restoration of the historic building, underscoring that the current $500,000 state grant is insufficient to accomplish the repair work specified in the bid package.
