It’s never too late to learn to paint

The most difficult part of learning any new skill is starting from a place of uncertainty. In order to become good at something, you have to be willing to be bad at it for as long as it takes to familiarize yourself with the tools, skills and techniques necessary to do it. When it comes to creative hobbies, like painting, this can feel discouraging and frustrating, and that can take away the desire to continue practicing. This is where taking a class or having an instructor can be useful.
An instructor has taken the time to be bad at something, and has either learned from others or taught themselves how to achieve a desired effect with their craft. T
