Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa faces 10 counts of first-degree murder. According to his older brother, Alissa is mentally ill. He is a paranoid, anti-social and violent man. This fact is being completely ignored. Instead, anti-gun politicians and the media want us to blame the murderer’s AR pistol for the massacre, which claimed 10 lives, and not the man who pulled the trigger. To be clear, they want you to believe it’s the gun’s fault. Why? Because for them, this tragic loss of life is an opportunity, and they will never, let an opportunity go to waste. Many took their cue from Biden, who called on Congress to ban similar weapons, and then threatened to issue more executive orders. Lost in the media circus was any talk about what actually caused the mass killing, which was Alissa’s mental illness, not his gun.
Alissa was on the FBI radar and like Parkland did nothing to prevent the tragedy. The federal background check system would have alerted agents that Alissa was purchasing a firearm and again that didn’t work. According to his brother, Alissa first exhibited signs of paranoia at the age of 14, when he covered his computer camera with tape and complained he was being followed. "He always suspected someone was behind him," Ali Alissa told CNN. "We kept a close eye on him when he was in high school. He would say, 'Someone is chasing me, someone is investigating me.' Alissa posted about his paranoia on his Facebook page. "Just curious what are the laws about phone privacy because I believe my old school was hacking my phone," Alissa wrote in a March 18, 2019, Facebook post. One year earlier, 18-year-old Alissa was arrested for severely beating a high school classmate sitting on his victim and smacking him in the head. He was sentenced to a year’s probation and community service for the assault. This assault should have prevented Alissa from purchasing a firearm. Another mass shooter on the FBI’s radar As we’ve seen before, Alissa was known to senior law enforcement officials. The FBI has not commented publicly about what they knew or didn’t know. Alissa had purchased his AR pistol days before the massacre after he passed a background check. My question is “how can one pass a background check after being arrested"? But then Here in Madison we had a customer come in to purchase a firearm. FDLE contacted our Sheriff’s Department as he had a warrant for his arrest. Approximately twenty minutes after his arrest he received an approval from FDLE, “typically Government run business". In my humble opinion, there is no law that will ever be able to prevent a bad man from doing bad things. Go back to Parkland here in Florida. The FBI called on Cruz three times for threats to students and teachers. “Nothing Happened” The Sheriff Dept called on Cruz 45 times for threats to students and teachers "Did Nothing" Had any of those we hire to protect us neither of these Mass Murderers could have happened as they could not have been able to purchase a firearm. Well, Maybe Not, “We’re talking Government Run Business”.
