It’s time to drop toys into JOY boxes

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, this is a good time to consider those less fortunate in our community. One opportunity to be helpful to others is through JOY (Jefferson Outreach for Youth). This annual toy drive provides Christmas gifts for local youngsters. Colorfully decorated JOY boxes are located around town where unwrapped, donated toys can be left. Monetary donations are also needed and can be mailed to JOY at P.O. Box 25, Monticello, Fla., 32345.
