Jacqueline (Jackie) Abdullah Pickenpaugh, 72, of Crawfordville, Fla. and Monterey, Cali., passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 14, 2021, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born to parents James and Olga Abdullah on Oct. 30, 1948, in Jacksonville, Fla.
Jackie was a dedicated wife, mother and friend. She treasured her family and especially loved her role as Sito (Arabic grandmother) to her grandchildren. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed golf and loved to travel.
Her life was a living example of Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, David; her two daughters, Jennifer (Rob) Winchester and Carrie (Chris) Conlon; her three grandchildren, Carson Winchester, Kate Winchester and Adaline Conlon; brother, Nihme Abdullah; sister, Nancy (Bill) Ray as well as numerous relatives and friends.
