James Lee Bassa, Sr.

James Lee Bassa, Sr.James Lee (Jim) Bassa, Sr.,age 99, of Delray Beach, was escorted away from the Delray Beach Medical Center by a flock of angels on January 10. He was the oldest surviving native of Lloyd Fl., a retired heavy-equipment operator, a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Delray Beach, and a former member of the now-defunct Bethel A.M.E. Church in Lloyd. In 1933, at age 11, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior while attending revival services, conducted by the Rev. O.C.
