On Saturday, Oct. 19, the Jefferson County Historical Association (JCHA) enjoyed the long-held annual tradition of the Harvest Hunt Dinner. The autumn dinner, usually held in October around a full moon, is an annual fundraiser event for the historical association hosted on the lawn of the historic Wirick-Simmons House, the headquarters of JCHA and one of the oldest houses in town.
The event began at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception, followed by a buffet-style dinner at 7 p.m., which featured some local bites and drinks for guests to enjoy. The meal closed with dessert.
