JCI K-9 places in regional Manhunt Trials

Submitted by Florida Department of Corrections The Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) celebrates the top placement of six FDC K-9 teams at the Southeastern State Manhunt Field Trials, an event hosted Sept. 11-15 by the Escambia County Road Prison. In the Multiple Leash Division: First Place: Okaloosa CI Second Place: Century CI Fourth Place: Wakulla CI In the Single Leash Division: Second Place: Apalachee CI Third Place: Jefferson CI Fourth Place: Okeechobee CI Several teams from Florida and Louisiana competed in the Manhunt Trials, which took place in the Blackwater State Forest and featured a 1.5-mile day and night track. These trials simulate K-9 teams' conditions
