JCS students present professional paper at Anthropological Society Meeting

Despite the storms, the weekend of May 10-11 marks a major milestone for the Aucilla Research Institute (ARI) in its continuing work to provide educational outreach and support for “hands-on” education for Jefferson County students. On Friday, May 10, five students from Jefferson County K-12 School (JCS) – Audrey Andrews, Jaimie Moore, Leonardo Olivares, Tylan Harley, and Gaven Langston – presented a paper at the Florida Anthropological Society Meeting Pensacola, Fla., on their research project at the Trelawn Plantation site, 8JE2199, here in Jefferson County.
