JCSO becomes first county in Florida to complete Disaster Readiness Assessment

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office became the first entity in all 67 Florida counties to complete the Disaster Readiness Assessment (DRA) before the start of 2024. The Florida Division of Emergency Management paid a special visit to the JCSO to recognize them for their dedication to completing the assessment, and provided a lunch in appreciation.
