Jefferson Arts Gallery seeks community assistance

Like many structures that stood in the path of Hurricane Idalia, the building that currently houses a local non-profit art center withstood extensive damages to its roof. The Jefferson Arts Gallery, located at 575 W. Washington St., has suffered several places of damage to its rooftop, which has resulted in a multitude of leaks that have quickly become cause for concern for the organization.
The gallery, commonly referred to as JAG, regularly hosts art shows and exhibits for prosperous and aspiring artists alike, which means their building often contains significant bodies of work that often include original pieces that are one of a kind. The volunte
