Jefferson County joins capital region career-growing group

Jefferson County is no longer part of North Florida Career Source, which consists of Hamilton, Lafayette, Madison, Suwannee and Taylor counties, and which long counted Jefferson County as a member. On Thursday, May 16, Jefferson County officials approved an interlocal agreement to join Career Source Capital Region (CSCR), which consists of Leon, Gadsden and Wakulla counties. Local officials weren’t overly happy to make the change, agreeing to it only after receiving the promise of concessions from the capital region group.
