Joe Biden, Mr. Consistency

Our soon to be former president has been much maligned on any number of things, but I’d like to commend him for his consistency on just one issue - guns and gun laws. In September 2019 he commented while a candidate about a Texas law allowing guns in churches as being “irrational”. Another time, he commented about shooting people in the leg to stop them. Now after the Madison Wisconsin Christian school shooting, the first thing he mentioned was the need for universal background checks. He’s been very consistent, and useful since every single time he talked about guns he was wrong. If we did the opposite of what he wanted, such as the Texas law, lives would be saved. In fact they w
