Johnston Signature Furnishings opens in Monticello

Just a short time after Badcock Furniture closed its doors across the nation, Andy Johnston, the owner of the Monticello, Madison and Branford stores, has revived the business, opening as Johnston Signature Furnishings. The newly-branded store began a soft opening on Saturday, Nov. 16. He owned seven Badcock stores in the North Florida area, and all of them reopened under the new name. Thanks to Johnston, our area was fortunate. Only about 100 of the 384 Badcock stores that closed have reopened. Johnston is proud to announce that more than the name is changing.
