Judith Kregg Stiff, 75, passed away on July 11, 2022, in Tallahassee, Fla. She was born on June 1, 1947, in Miami, Fla., the daughter of Edward Malm and Vernon M. Davis. In the early part of her life, Judi was an avid scuba diver and boating enthusiast. She never lost her love of beaches and oceans and all the glory that abounds beneath the sea. Her Husband Christopher and family were the closest to her heart, and holidays meant the world to her. As Jona, her very good friend, said, “Judi was a heart friend.” If she loved you, Judi would always go the extra mile to be certain that you knew it.
She worked as an accountant for First Mortgage Investors in Miami Beach, Gencom Group, and as a controller for The Continental Companies’ Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne. Judith was affiliated with the Baptist church and was a member of both the P.E.O. Society and the General Accounting Society. Her membership in the International P.E.O. sisterhood began in 1992 in Pembrooke Pines, Fla. She was CH. HD treasurer from 1992 to1994, vice president 1994-1995 and president 1995-1996. In 2013, she and her husband Christopher moved to Monticello, Fla. In November of 2013 Judi transferred to FSC’s Chapter GR and served on various project committees. Judi was a giver and volunteered her time to assist with the FSC’s Florida P.E.O. Scholarship Committee. She was serving as an “official” committee member for the second year when she passed away. She was very dedicated to this organization, and her sisters miss her greatly. Chapter GR is honoring Judi with a Florida P.E.O. Scholarship in her memory. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Jeanne Stiff Stoltz; father-in-law, Ray J. Stiff; and brother-in-law, David G. Stiff. Survivors include her husband, Christopher N. Stiff; sisters-and brothers-in-law, Yvonne Orr (Douglas), Patrick Stiff (Anita), Doug Stiff (Dawn), Todd Stiff (Karen); and eleven nieces and nephews and their children. She recently found two brothers, Ed Seifert and Chris Seifert, as well as a sister. Her husband and life mate, Christopher, and all of her family and friends will miss her adventurous spirit and generosity. Arrangements by Beggs Funeral Home in Monticello, Fla.
